PORT DIVISION
Our inland navigation activities have their centre at our site located on the right bank of the Danube river, at river kilometre 1,532.4. The recent decades have seen substantial developments there, as a result of which we now have a modern port base with a ferry terminal, waiting hall, car park, drinking water and power connection and further related services.
SERVICES
CARGO SHIPPING
Our company has been doing international freight transportation with its four vessels on the Danube–Rhine–Main rivers since 2009. We typically transport bulk cargo (e.g. wheat and fertilisers), steel and other cargo (e.g. timber logs, special size cargo) with our self-propelled vessels. Our cargo shipping division joined the German MSG eG in 2011 and has been operating as its member ever since.

COMPANY INFORMATION
THE PAST AND THE FUTURE
Our company was founded in 1989 and is a prominent player in the Hungarian river shipping business. After continuously adapting to the market environment and restructuring for the purposes of steady business development, our company has been operating in its current form and under the name Kiszl Shipping Ltd. (Kiszl Hajózási Kft.) since the merger of Bains Gravel Ltd. (Bains Kavics Kft.) and Charon Shipping Ltd. (Charon Hajózási Kft.) in 2015.
Activities: inland freight transportation on the Danube–Main–Rhine rivers, ferry crossing between Paks and Gérderlak, public port services for large and small-sized vessels in Paks. Previously, we also used to deal with passenger shipping, event vessels and river gravel excavation on the Danube. Our professional experience of several generations and our own modern vessels and port infrastructure are the guarantee for a quality service.
